You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any SMS you receive from us. After you opt out, you will receive confirmation of your request, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.

For support regarding our SMS service, reply “HELP” to any SMS message or contact us at techsupport@smpwpseattle.org. We will respond with instructions or direct you to additional resources.

9. User Responsibilities

·         Ensure the mobile number you provide is accurate and up to date.

·         Promptly inform us if your mobile number changes or is deactivated.

·         Do not use our service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

·         Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

10. Changes to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms of Service at our discretion. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, nor for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use our SMS services. The SMS service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMPWP Seattle and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the SMS service or violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SMPWP Seattle operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
